Red Mountain Park’s 10 miles of trails and 1,200 acres are now open to the public. The temporary entrance to the park is right off Lakeshore Parkway at the end of Frankfurt Drive, just outside Homewood City limits.

The park’s zip line adventure is schedule to open Saturday, April 14.

The park holds hikes the third Sunday of every month at 2 p.m. to introduce guests to what the park has to offer. The next one is schedule for March 18.

Visitors should park in the Frankfurt Drive col-de-sac; a temporary parking lot will be constructed soon. The park is open seven days a week during daylight hours. Maps and trail signs are available. Additional amenities will open later.
